London is absolutely brimming with amazing green space and playgrounds. Here's a list of our favourites so far! Let me know in the comments which ones we should check out next! :)

  1. Paddington Park - Maida Vale

This is by far our favourite park we have been to in London so far! It is absolutely huge with several different play spaces for all age groups. There's also a nice cafe where you can grab a tea or an ice cream!

2. Child's Hill Park - Golder's Green We loved this park for a few reasons, but most of all because of the zip line. There's a great zip line here for bigger kids and I have to say it was a blast. There's also a track surrounding it where kids can ride bikes or scooters. We had dinner at the Kosovan cafe in the park and the food was amazing so that was a huge plus! It's a little bit more off the beaten path from the touristy areas, but if you find yourself in the area it's a great option.

3. Hanover Gate Playground - Regent's Park

This one is in the beautiful Regent's park, right next to the paddling ponds. There is a large area with sand and a climbing playground, along with swings and a smaller sand box for little ones, and (very importantly) bathrooms! There are a couple of nice cafes nearby and of course a walk through the beautiful park is a must.

4. Golder's Hill Park & mini zoo - Hampstead Heath

The play equipment here is not anything special, but it's a great location within Hampstead Heath and nearby a free mini zoo. Take a walk through the Heath and explore the forest, then stop for a bit of play time and a zoo visit. There's also a cafe we really liked here with Italian food & gelato.

5. Jubilee Gardens - South Bank

This little park was such a fun find right behind the London Eye! Definitely got crowded, but was such a fun place to let the kids run around after waiting in line and riding on the London Eye. The location is walking distance to many of the big 'must-see' locations in central London, so good to keep in mind for when you just need to give your littles space to play.
